Enter the CO3 Beta

Chat Of Our Own is a writing-first roleplay space for people who want AI scenes to feel less like polite reply generation and more like collaborative fiction. Testers can build personas, browse shared character and user profiles, and try chats shaped around voice, continuity, subtext, tension, pacing, and user agency. Approved testers can use CO3-granted model access when available, or bring their own Gemini/OpenAI key. The key supplies model access; CO3 supplies the roleplay frame around it.

First Visit

You do not need to understand every feature before trying CO3. The first visit has one main path, and rough test chats are useful.

  1. Create an account and confirm the email.
  2. Wait for beta approval.
  3. Open the app and choose model access.
  4. Create or copy one simple user persona and one simple character persona.
  5. Start a short chat, then flag anything confusing or broken.

New Here

Use the guided setup if this is your first time seeing CO3.

Already Approved

Open the app and test the core loop: personas, chat controls, response feedback, and saved work.

Need Help

Use Help for account questions, model access, persona guides, chat behavior, public archive rules, and feedback.

Personas With Purpose

Character and user personas are creative engines with rules, boundaries, openings, relationship context, pronouns, visibility, and continuity anchors.

Writing First

CO3 is built around text, scene craft, pacing, subtext, response quality, and believable character behavior instead of unrelated extras.

Archive And Workshop

Public character and user personas can become discoverable archive entries with likes, popularity sorting, and copy-to-library flows. Private ones stay yours: drafts, experiments, personal scenes, and custom setups.

Built To Improve

Regenerations, response flags, and beta feedback help CO3 identify what breaks immersion: repetition, weak point of view, flat pacing, contradictions, or generic AI phrasing.
